Amy Buxton’s Underdog Jog is an annual event in remembrance of Amy Buxton. Amy dedicated her life to saving dogs and helping her local community.  

 

PROCEEDS: Proceeds from the race will go to Almost Home Rescue, the Kennebec Valley Humane Society and the Family Violence Project.

Almost Home Rescue (AHR) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit all-breed rescue organization dedicated to saving lives and finding forever homes for stray, abandoned and surrendered dogs in danger of euthanasia. We are strictly a volunteer run organization and have no paid staff or board members. We rely on a network of volunteer foster homes and do not have a physical shelter.
