Welcome to Almost Home Rescue!

Jason Weed is planning to hike the Appalachian Trail from Georgia back to Maine, in memory of his beloved dog, Shelby. It was originally his intent to make this trek with her, but she passed away last year. So in her honor, he’ll make the trek to raise funds for Almost Home Rescue of New England. And his goal? $10,000! It’s ambitious and thoughtful and it means the world to us that he wants to help other dogs just like his pup, Shelby. She was a rescue dog as well and he just wants to be able to allow other dogs to have as amazing a life as she did.
